Does anyone have experience in refurb and remount of a Lucas Jag mount mirror for GT40 use? Particularily interested in removal of original Jag ball from 2 piece internal socket assembly and install of new (correct) ball/post. My concern is: in order to disassemble/reassemble it is necessary to bend at least 2 small tabs out during disasembly and back when reassembling without work hardening and fracturing. Is my concern warranted? Is there a proven proceedure ; I don't want to experiment if I don't need to. Thanks in advance, Steve
