air inlets?

Hello gents,

I've spent quite some time now on the internet looking for those cylindrical air inlets used in aircraft and some race cars of the 60s.
Unfortunateley I haven't been successfull in locating a supplier.

They look like a cylinder with end plates inserted to the side window. If you push it out, and turn the slot towards the relative wind, you have fresh air and if you turn it 180° you have an air outlet. If you need neither of it you just pull it in to "seal" the window.

Maybe someone of you knows where to get them.

Cheers

They're originally for Helicopters and called Helicopter Vents.
They have also been use in Windshields for motorcycles.

Here's a link to some on eBay;

Leopold,

I have them on my GTD and they work very well.Only problem is at above 100mph they'll suddenly pop open scaring the bejesus out of you! Make sure to turn them around when you snap them shut before any high speed forays.
