aircon/heater unit outlets?

I have the (pretty) standard universal heater/aircon unit like the type available from Vintage Air. The outlets are in an awkward place, so before I mess around fabrication an aluminium outlet for the hoses to connect to, does anyone know where the alternatives are available from? I looked at the Vintage Air website, but couldn't find anything.

Simon, got any pics of what you mean? Perhaps have a a look at CBS, they do a plenum chamber for one of their Air Con units. If you go that route, let me know, I need to order some more bits, no point paying double postage...

I don't like the black plastic eyeball vents that come with the unit either. They look cheap - and, well, too much like plastic...

I've also been looking for suitable alternatives.
I believe that the Miata vents are the right size but don't hold me to it. There are some dress-ups for them on eBay.

Also there's the single vane alternative like this one;
ROUND IN DASH BLACK WITH CHROME BALL

That might be suitable. I had hoped for maybe 3 vanes though...

Sorry didn't make myself clear enough.
I'm looking for the outlet plenum that fits on to the heater/AC unit (see pics)
Before I make my own, I wanted to know if there were other designs available.
