Heated bulkhead window?

I've just gone to get some quotes for glass for the bulkhead window and notice that uroglas ( UroGlas - Home ) offer the option of heated glass.

Is there any advantage to having the bulkhead glass heated or is it pointless given the lack of rear visibility and heat from the engine?

Seriously, Seems totally pointless to me given the 400 HP heater setting three inches from the glass.

That was tbh what I thought but not having actual experience in the matter thought I'd ask first...

I have often used the windshield de-frost, but as Chuck said, the "firewall" window has never been a problem.
