Hi all
I am trying to remove the ball joint from my Lucas 608 mirror. I've disassembled the mirror and found the ball joint is held between a housing and a plate by 4 metal tabs that clasp it in place. I need to remove this plate in order to fit the new joint but the tabs are proving tricky to bend back.
Can anyone suggest the best way and tools to move these tabs and release the plate?
