Since I crashed my car on top of the raidillion in Spa francorchamps during heavy rain I am looking for a new front clip.
Thanks to Fred De Braey which gave me (in loan)a spare nose from his GTD I could rebuild the car in time for the LMC .
After searching this forum I have unanswered questions.
Beeing at the LMC 2012 I looked at all the various shapes of the real and not so real GT 40 s.
I understand the GT 40 is not a mass produced car but a race car so there are differences.
What puzzled me is :
1° My kva has a ridge on top rear of the sidewindow which extends in the air scoop. kva have this and some gtd.I have seen no original cars with this.
2°The front clip of the gtd differs a lot from my kva,especially since the kva clip has two notches for wipers.The openings for the fuel filler caps are 1 inch further front on the gtd.Wheel arches are also different.For me the kva has smoother lines everywhere most notable round the headlights.
3° where can I find a kva front clip.
