core foam?

I have been making an alloy body for my 40 and I want to use some sort of foam sheeting and bond it in between the roof and the inner roof.

I want something that is water resistant just in case,a foam that has some give so it will form without sanding in the contour would be neat. I have not used anything like this before ,has anyone got any recomendations.

I was also thinking about using expanding foam in the a pillars as it has an inner and outer shell ,has any one had long term issues with this stuff.

I am sure that Egli Tom did some expanding core foam in his RCR40 roof.....he may see the thread and answer, but if not drop him a PM.

I recall him telling me that he had some issues with it along the way...

I am concerned it may hydrolic the panels as I plan on panel bonding them together.
