Side Window Flaps

All,
Does anyone have any ideas or photos for sealing the side window flaps. Presently the side window flaps are fitted flush with the side windows, but there is a small gap around the flap perimeter. Cutting the flap exactly to the opening is possible, but to achieve a complete seal is difficult.
Any suggestions welcome.

The flaps we provide are fitted as original which is flush but as you say this leaves a 2mm gap.

With the earlier version that we used to supply the flap was on the outside of the window with a 10mm overlap and there was a 10mm wide sponge strip around the side window flap opening.

The latest version is IVA ok but the earlier version is not.

When I get back after Christmas I will have a look and see if we have any of the earlier fittings in stock.

Are you really going to drive the finished car in the rain? If not you will always have the flap open anyway.
