CAV A/C Compressor

It looks like I'm getting a little oil leakage around the Dunair A/C compressor on my CAV. It seems to hold a charge for now but I was wondering if anyone has swapped their unit for a Sanden 508 or something else that is more available on this side of the pond?
With summer coming, figured it may be time for a longer term fix.

With Johann's help at CAV-US he was able to overnight me a new compressor as the old one developed a leak under the clutch. It's 11 years old so I guess it was time.
The A/C tech says he really needs to know the factory spec on the initial fill of refrigerant. In looking at past postings, everyone indicates that they simply fill to low pressure side to 35-40 lbs. The tech indicated that they may lead to an overfill depending on ambient temps.
In reading some old CAV correspondence from 2002 it referred to the base factory fill was 550 grams with 50 more if the pressure switch won't activate. That's about a pound and a quarter. Does that sound appropriate to you? Seems low to me.
Any input would be appreciated.
