body differences

Hi, I'm a newbie here and I own a bodyshop specialasing in building alternative cars. A customer has asked me if I would do some work to his mk111 GT40, which I believe is a KVA. One of the things he wants doing is to try to make the car look more like a Mk1 or mk11. Is it possible to fit the front and rear clip from these cars to a mk111 body. If so what additional work would be required to make them fit, or is this a project that is impossible to do? are there any major differences between the mk1, 11 and mk111 main body centre section?
we have full fibreglass laminating facilities available, so any repairs etc shouldn't be a problem. He ideally wants to replicate the look of the Le Mans winning cars.

Sorry for the dumb questions, but I really don't know the differences between the body styles and whether the panels will interchange

thanks in advance
Nigel

Hi,
Overall the centre section (Roof & doors) are the same across the 3 models, with the front & rear body sections being interchangeable. However there are differences between KVA’s and later replica body-shells, so be prepared to cut & shut etc to achieve decent shut lines etc.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>
