superformance gt 40 head light and side window gaskets

Does anyone know where to find gasket material better than the original to replace headlight and side window gaskets ?

I've not used it, but an idea would be closed-cell foam tape such as from 3M. I know it comes in different widths and thicknesses and should be a decent sealing material.

Look at using 3M molding tape, the tape used to secure side moldings and emblems to cars. It comes in various widths and thicknesses. You install it to the plex and leave the red tape on the side that meets the body...otherwise it is permanent. Understand that nothing will make the plex totally waterproof to the body.
