Wiper Motor Wiring

Hi All,

I have what is believed to be a Tornado Loom and a tornado supplied wiper motor. The problem I have is that the connector on the loom was cut off and I cannot match the wires to the loom.

If any of you have the Loom / connector configuration I would be most grateful.

I attach a picture of the connector and the 5 wires!

Cheers

Chris

Re: Wiper Motor Wiring

Hi Chris,

Not sure if this will be right for you as it's from a GTD loom but it may give you a starter.... it should give two speeds & self parking.

The terminals on the wiper motor are numbered & correspond to the wires as follows;

53 red/lt green
31b black
53e blue/lt green
53a green
53b brown/lt green

the switch wired as follows;

6 red/green
2 green/blue
8 brown/green
4 green

hope this helps & doesn't fry the loom !!!!!

regds

Re: Wiper Motor Wiring

Chris

If you are concerned about the risk to the wiring loom, just make a simple fused link ( say 10a) between the battery lead and the battery terminal. If you create a dead short the fuse will protect the main loom.
