MKII battery location

Despite checking the dozens of photos I have of MKIIs in various stages of assembly I cannot find any pictures showing the battery. It does not appear to be in the rear of the left sponson as in a MKI, and doesn't appear to be in the front. Are they in the passenger footwell (which is where a lot of wiring seems to lead or arise)? Has anyone any pictures or can shed some light? Where is the MKII SPF MKII battery located (I can't even find any pictures showing that).

SPF MK II has the battery in the right rear sponson as does the MK I. I seem to recall the MK II FAV cars having them in the passenger footwell as did some early MK Is
