Turn signal isssue

My turn signals work fine with the ignition on an car is still. After driving a while they dont work. If I flip the emergency flasher on and off quickly the turn signal works. I think it is a relay issue but which one: turn signal or flasher unit? Thanks for the ideas as neither of the relays is easy to reach.

Sounds like flasher unit or voltage supply.

All the flasher is an interrupter/circuit breaker in power supply to the ind switch, it has likely failed.

Why don't you just swap them over and see if it fixes it.
If not change the ind one first.
If its hard to get at go in once and do the both, its only a couple of bucks.

Depending how it is wired one maybe effecting the other.
