Electrical Distribution bus

I just finished a starter rebuild and in putting it all together I'm not too thrilled with the way my CAV primary electrical distribution is wired. The battery switched positive lead is connected to the starter solenoid along with the feeds to the rest of the car's system. (I also have a master fuse between the battery positive and the system.) So that puts four connections all joined up on the solenoid lug. It barely leaves room for a lock washer and nut to secure it all.
Has anyone come up with something more elegant such as a electrical distribution bus that would be weather and road grit proof?
