Electrical grease for poor connections

I'm having trouble with the (admittedly past its best) loom on the GT Corty. I'm trying to get it back on the road this summer and just enjoy it a bit as is until I can amass the funds to complete the conversion to SBF power. I think a lot of it is due to ageing connections/ bad earths, is there some conductive grease or similar that might help?
Cheers
Jono

I always use Vaseline - cheap to get and cuts corrosion too. Everything from Battery posts to bullet connectors.

Re: Electrical grease for poor connections

Malcom;
I use a grease I get locally at my auto parts supplier. It is primarily used by the trailer towing/rv crowd, and comes in a small tube for about $8. The brand name is Lubri-Sil, and is made by Felpro. Great stuff, and especially good on EFI connections and other connections in a harsh environment such as under hood etc.
Hope this helps.

Re: Electrical grease for poor connections

Cheers, got some dielectric grease from the local parts store £5 for a small tube but hey, if it does the job its well worth it. Guy in the shop says he uses it himself on his motorbike so should be OK

Re: Electrical grease for poor connections

For the record 'Copaslip' is a good conductive, antisieze grease.
