Shifter Linkage / Cable

Is there a company that supplies transmission shifter cables. I have a long way to go, almost 90" to reach the back of my 915 tranny. I did a quick search back in the forum and did not see anything about this.
Thanks . . .

Just about any marine supply store can set you up with low friction Morse cables and hadware. Alternatively, you can get them from some of the homebuilt aircraft suppliers such as Aircraft Spruce or Wicks.

Re: Shifter Linkage / Cable

Go directly to the manufacturer.
I have been buying Cablecraft for many years. Find your local distributor. I think your nearest is in Tacoma, WA (USA). They'll make any end, any length. IMHO, they make a better product than does Morse.

Check out the shifter at Renegade Hybrids. They have midengine setups for all the Porsche models. You probably only have to specify the lenght. Lynn Larsen had a post with pictures of his setup, both front and rear.

Re: Shifter Linkage / Cable

Try ShipStore.com They had the best price on Morse stainless steel cables that I found a few years ago. Here is a link to 6' cables, but they have them in many other links. Note the ending of the part number refers to the length of the cable:

Here is the link for 8' cables, price $26.97

Re: Shifter Linkage / Cable

Try Welcome to Windrush Evolutions - WEVO
Extremely well engineered shifters for 901,915, G50 Porsche Transaxles.
If you ask nicely, I am sure they will do custom work as well.
I have more inexpensive sources, but Wevo is top of the line.
IM me if you want additonal info.
