The starter that KEP supplies with their adaptor kit is a Toyota reduction drive unit from Precision Parts. The part number is TOS 112.

The toyota starter that kep is using is very rare in sweden, europe?. I am using a very common and used 2002 golf 1,9 diesel starter in my own projekt.Drawing:

The starter in my post above has 2,0Kw power and works with audi stock flywheel ring gear.

KEP uses a type "R" Toyota truck starter. It was used on nearly every 22R 4 cylinder motor Toyota made, and perhaps on other applications as well. Must be tens of thousands of them around.

I think that in Sweden all Fourrunner was delivered with a V6 engine.
But the PickUp(in sweden called Hilux) had 4 cylinder engine.
