Today I looked under a M/benz mb1400 comercial van.
It has a transaxle.
It is a fairly solid looking unit but that does not mean anything.
It is made by sang yong??.
Does anyone know anything about these boxes.

I think it may be the same box that is used in Renault commercial vehicles, but I may be wrong.

That's interesting, can you post a couple more pics, some closer shots of the diff from a couple of different angles and a good look at the main shaft?
