audi clutch, twin disc setups

I've tried a search on modified audi clutches, not much info exsists. has anyone seen or modified a stock setup to run two discs? Looking at the stock flywheel there would be sufficient depth to get in an interpate and another disc. Material would have to be machined away but there seems to be more than enough meat to do it ( although I hate to thin out with a cast iron flywheel). Any thoughts?

Re: audi clutch, twin disc setups

I have a twin disc setup on my car that was made by my chassis guy and I fits without machining the flywheel but I did have to shave a very small amount off of the Audi bellhousing as the pressure plate was just
touching.

Regards
