Oil cooler thermostat?

Anybody running an oil cooler thermostat? I've got a SPF GT that is currently suffering from low engine oil temps. I've currently got a piece of cardboard over the face of the oil cooler and it helps a bit but looks horrible not to mention being a very crude bandaid.

I would like to run a thermostat bypass. Anyone have one and/or knows where to get one.

Thanks in advance
Rich.

I've been racing a cobra with a perma-cool oil thermostat for about 3yrs and have found it to be very good, provides quick warm up and seems to flow well. Stick with something at least -10AN or 1/2NPT.

Got it from summing racing, part #PRM-1070.

Going to use it again on my RCR-40.

I use this Earls thermostat on my engine. It has an internal bypass to route cold oil back to the filter. It accepts AN -10 O ring fittings, which are supposed to have higher flow rates than NPT fittings. The Summit racing part number is: EAR-501ERL
