Safir Spares Bellhousing

I recently purchased the bellhousing - twin disc clutch and fly wheel setup from Safir Spares in Ohio for installation in my ERAGT2077. Bob Wood could not have been more helpful. The ERA chassis does not have provision for the lower bellhousing support bolts, but Teddy (he can weld upside down standing on his head) at ERA devised a jig to properly locate the proper spot to drill through the rear hoop and weld in metal bushings.

If anyone would like to see pictures of the installation, e-mail me at jholden@bestweb.net and I will be more than happy to send you some pictures of the installation.

I am advocating to Bob P at ERA that they should make provision fo rthe lower locating busing in the rear hoop as a matyter of course.

Jim

Jim,
I wholeheartedly agree as Bob was most accomodating.
Here is my new clutch and flywheel. It's no less than superb.

Thats probably easier than standing on your feet trying to weld with the pool of molten metal above you!!
