Is there any cable shifters for a UN1 for centre console mounted use.

Re UN1 centre cable shift - I think Lotus Esprit works and also early Toyota MR2... Check first though..

Yes, most, well at least a lot, of the GTD's that were sold in the USA had center shift LH drive. Lotus something or other shift parts. Very hard to find now-a-days. I would be interested in photos of a MR2 shifter and or one installed in a GTD.

I believe about 86 - 89.

Dimi, Is yours hooked up to a Renault? Is the shifting pattern on your knob the same as the pattern in your gearbox? I believe that the Renault is R over and down along side 2nd so to speak. Would this matter? I would love to replace my lotus piece of crap with something better. If the MR2 would work I would like to get one and try it.
