01E how much HP?

Hi all,

New member here, I'd like to use an Audi 01E with a LS3. If any of you using an 01E could post how much HP your putting through one and what your experiences are it would be much appreciated?

I have a SBF with Webers which puts out about 400 hp and the 01E 6-speed in my BEC GT40 handles the power easily.

Thanks for the info. I've been in contact with Scott. He says up to 700hp. Just looking for some feedback from someone actually using one. I just need overall length to determine if it will fit at this point.

There are some Audi's with over 1,000 horsepower running custom internals. For stock 1-2 gears I'd probably put the limit at 700 or so, all depending on how it's abused. The stock First gear being the limitation.

Length from bell housing to the end of the tail case is approx 26 inches.
