Had German Transaxles of America do my 016 last fall. They installed a Wavetrac LSD. Very satisfied with the installation and the improved traction.

If you get a wavetrac-( And you should )- spec it with ~70 ft/lb preload... that seems to work fine in stuff I have dealt with.

What do you mean by centre diff? If you want the center diff for the AWD unit there is not such animal other than the stock Torsen unit.

Aussie/Kiwi Hot Rodder slang... Diff center is bar room talk for spider gears, LSD unit , Spool etc for 'normal' rear axle diffs, before 4wd, front wheel drive and center diffs became the 'new' norm with rally & drift car crowd.
