AN3 or AN4 tubing from master cylinder to clutch

I have read that its preferable to use AN4 size rigid tubing (with 1/4" ID)to the external slave clutch cylinder from the clutch MC on a ZF tansmission as it allows a better flow back and forth of fluid. But since I have a wilwood MC that has an output of 3/8" -24 which would appropriate for a 1/8" ID tube how does it improve fluid flow if there is still a pinch point in the diameter of flow at the output of the MC. And looking at wilwood catalog all of their MC have the same output. Seems like regardless of the size tubing run from MC to cylinder you still have the same limitations. Thanks
