Well was wondering where on the headlight ?? bottom of the lens or top ?? presently its 500mm to the middle of my LB unit but was wanting to lower it another 15mm or so but don't want to fall foul of the IVA test later....

As per the manual:

In the case of the

minimum height to the lower edge of the illuminated area (reflective surface on a reflector).

In the case of a Dipped Beam headlamp the

minimum height will measured to the apparent trace of the beam cut-off on the lens. If this point cannot be determined then you will take the lower edge of the illuminated area.
