Registering SLC in Florida

Does anyone have experience of registering a SLC in Florida? I believe it has to be registered as a ASPT (assembled from parts) since it's not a replica. Based on the Florida regulations, I need to keep the receipts for all major components (chassis, frame, engine, transmission with serial numbers) and have an inspection to get a FL VIN. Anyone with experience would be appreciated since now is the best time to get my documentation in order before the car arrives

Stephen,
Perhaps Jack M is the man to contact. He's probably not registered his SLC yet but he's experienced with all things "kit car"....

Stephen,
Wayne is in the process right now. His inspection will be very soon.
You will need to present your MSO, and the receipts as you have described. So far, Wayne has had good cooperation from the agencies concerned. All pretty painless other than having to wait for his inspection because lack of inspectors in the area he resides in.

Slowly but progressing. Been distracted for a number of important reasons and tasks.

Tampa should not present any problems with inspectors. Jupiter Didn't have any.
