GTD plate

Just wondering if this ID plate is normal on GTD's or is it an invention from the builder of the car ?
Regards,
Andy

Re: GTD plate

To my knowledge it should look like this.

However I don't find it on on my GTD...

Re: GTD plate

Invention from builder to me. Never saw it before.
The GT Dev one I have too but believe it is not Original GTD.
The last one i have too. I believe it made made by the GT40 Replica Club and not by GTD.
My understadning is that there was only a chassis number from GTD and no plaque (but I could be wrong).

The Black Manchester Poole plate is the factory issued one.
