Goodwood Revival Pictures

Help! Does anybody out there have a good photo of the eight GT 40s that competed in the revival on Sunday 8th for us to use in the next Club magazine, which is due at the end of the month.

If so, please email me at Afdyce@aol.com

Thanks in advance,
Andrew.

ps That's about 10% of all the cars ever produced all together in one race at one time!

Re: Goodwood Revival Pictures

Andrew,

I have some digital photos of several of the 40s. In fact I think only five ended up racing (one no show, one failed to make the grid and Win Percy's drive shaft failed on the start).

I will e-mail a few photos but owing to the paddock it was difficult to get full shots.

Re: Goodwood Revival Pictures

Whilst touring the 40s in the paddock and talking to the mechanics, I heard that the "no-show" (Martin Colville's Gulf GT40 to be driven by Jackie Oliver) didn't race as other competitors had objected to it (the race was for cars up to and including 1966 and the Colville car is 68 I think)
