GTD rear wheel bearings

Has anyone had the need to upgrade the rear wheel bearings. What kind/brand of bearings were used? Has anyone had one fail?

I am upgrading my rear calipers and was wondering about the bearings
Thanks,

Re: GTD rear wheel bearings

We talked the other day about wheel bearings. I thought you were asking about the front bearings. The rears, I believe are from a Merkur Scorpio. I have not heard pf anyone having problems with these. I have over 10,000 miles on mine and have had no problems at all. Hope this helps. The fronts are from the Ford Fiesta and many of the guys in England have complained of a weak spindle/bearing package on the front. GTD Racing and probably others have an upgraded, heavier duty front spindle/bearing package. The main complaint seems to be that flex in the smaller front spindle allows "knock back" of the front brake pads under hard cornering.
