Titanium copycat!

Not satisfied with trying to take his 40 over the wall and go sledging downhill into the sea on the Isle of Man last year, this year whilst on his skiing trip, Roy Wing managed to copy Roy Smart with a body ligthening experience by having three 3 inch titanium rods/bolts fitted into his hip after a particularly nasty tumble! He should be walking, as opposed to hip hopping about, in about 6 weeks time. Get better soon Roy....

I think I will stick to taking my brain out to go faster. Always worked in the past, so need to change tactics just yet. Mind you with baby 2 due tomorrow (2 is enough in my books!) I could always consider other ligtening options. Maybe not!

Re: Titanium copycat!

Hey guys, amost all of these orthopaedic fixations and prostheses are made of cobalt/chrome or stainless steel. There are a very few titanium items around, but they are usually small plates and screws.
