Competition Secretary (
dave.parker@gtd40club.co.uk ) has sent me a proposed list of events we are invited to in 2006. They comprise a selection of Sprints and HillClimbs and as preliminary, they may change, but the intention is to count 'best 8 of 15' so people can pick and choose if they are unable to attend all events.
Now, as we provide a list of labels to organising clubs to post out regualtions, could anyone intending to compete at one or more events in 2006 please email their Name/Address/ and preferred email address to:
competition@gtd40club.co.uk this will enable us to include your details in said label list and issue 'year specific' membership cards, something that the MSA prefer as it indicates that the competitor is current with their club subscriptions.
Whilst the entries are aimed at Sprints and HillClimbs, we would very much like to hear from ALL CLUB MEMBERS who compete in ANY series of motorsport in their GT40s/Replicas. This is regardless of MFr, specific marque, Uk or overseas, let's get a feel for WHO is doing WHAT in 2006 and speaking as magazine editor, let's get it in the club magazine. The more support or publicity we can get for the 'Replica environment', the more interest and acceptance to mainstream motorsport we will achieve. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
