UK source for Ford parts

I've noticed many times that members in the UK voice complaints regarding the difficulty of finding sources for U.S. engines. Here's one I ran across while surfing the net:

AMERICAN SPEED SPECIALTIES (LONDON)
Warring House Warring St.
West Norwood London
SE 27-9LH England …….44-181-766-6987

Hope this helps a bit.

Doug

Re: UK source for Ford parts

Not sure if they are still in business. The owner, Jim Blackburn died a few years ago. He supplied the parts for the engine in my blue GTD and I had a Hi-Tec cobra that was in his place when he died. I was under the impression his son sold everything and shut down (hope I'm wrong)

Re: UK source for Ford parts

There are quite a few companies in the UK specialising in the importation of American performance and service parts.

One of these who sponsored my various motor racing activities in the '80's is still very much in business.
