Ford 302 timing

I was wondering where the timing marks are on the Ford 302 motor. There is a port in the bell housing but no timing marks. Is there anything on the front pully? Also what is the timing? Thanks

On the front damper @ around 10 oclock or 2 oclock depending on which water pump/ front cover you are using, damper will be marked from 10° atdc thru tdc to 30° btdc on most standard Fords. Aftermarket dampers may have full 360° markings. Timing depends on the state of tune for your particular engine, but around 6°/8° BTDC @ idle rpm with vac adv disconnected & plugged will get you started & running for a standard type tune. Total adv with vac disconnected @ 3000+rpm should be in the 34°/36° zone.
