new member seeking local owners/members

Hi
7 years ago i watched my gulf KVA depart on a trailer. i departed ownership to purchase a Ultima.
GT4O have always been my passion and i am glad to say i am now back in ownership of a 93 GTD on a age related D plate. I have spend the last two weeks going over, checking and cleaning and finally getting to know the beast . The Ultima was great but i am not sorry about the change. She looks fantastic next to my 66 convertable Mustang.
I am based in Kent within M25 and reach out to hear from any other local members / owners to get in touch .
I will be at Wings and Wheels @ Dunsford August bank Holiday Sunday doing runway runs . I know last year there where several other cars there . Members??

Welcome back to the world of GT40s. I too have a GTD and will be attending the Wings and Wheels event at Dunsfold. I am awaiting confirmation to see if I can run up the strip, have you had confirmation? I am in Fareham, near portsmouth, so not really local to you. Have you joined the GT40 Enthusiasts Club? You will be able to meet lots of people through the club, I have There is a club meeting in Maidstone every month.

Post some pictures of your GTD on the forum, and I'll see you at Dunsfold with a bit of luck.

i am 99.9% sure i am included as i discussed with director of Brooklands direct.
its got to be this weekend that they send out the invites.
maidstone would be good for me as only some 20 miles max away.
