SPF GT Hub Caps

Here is a mod that you can use to make your own hub caps for the SPF GT40. Obviously you need a lathe to perform this operation. I purchased a 12" long piece of 2.25" diameter aluminum and went to work. Your dimensions may vary somewhat depending on how you want the caps to look. A large O-ring is used to provide a snug friction fit to hold the caps in place. After all the machining, I used a Scotch Bright pad to clean them up and powder coated them clear. Download the PDF at the end for a dimensional drawing. I couldn't get it to post directly.
