SPF GT Demist Grill Mod

OK, I know this qualifies as incredibly trivial and seems to be a no-brainer, but you can't imagine the number of emails I get asking how to deal with this problem so here it is.

The demist grill on the dash of the SPF GT40 is painted gloss black. This creates a horrible reflection on the inside of the windshield in bright sun light. A simple fix is to remove the seven screws holding it in place and paint it flat black. A better solution is to powder coat it flat black as shown below. There is a detailed note on powder coating elsewhere on this site and I strongly encourage you to read it and set up your own home powder coating setup.
