HI Everyone

I am in the process of doing research prior to building my next kit car . Which of course is going to be a GT 40 . I grew up in Daytona Beach , and as a kid attended the Contential 2000 and 24 Hours of Daytona during the Ford GT era . It was really great watching Ferrari P 330 , Porsches Chapperals Cobras ect .

During the 1966 race I was crossing the parking lot of the Holliday Inn , accross from the speedway , and in the parking lot was a silver GT 40 with wire wheels .I thought I had seen an Angel . Thus in buidling a GT 40 kit car , I will probably use that car as a template .
