I joined this forum because I want to learn more about the larger GT40's
The ones with small block.
Thinking about building one myself.
At this moment I am very active with the Bonito.
The gear box ( porsche 911-01 ) must be revised and an other motor must be build in.

If you search google for "burty bonito" you will find a site on which my bonito is shown in project GERRIT H

Hello Frank,

This bonito I bought in april 2005.
It is the old demonstration car from Emves. ( the importer for FT in the netherlands )
Build my own in 1975 and sold it when I got house wife and kids
Have been dreaming eversince of Gt40 cars.
Now I am just looking for experience with GT40 building and found YOU !
Would like to contact you over Email and exchange some experience !
I think you did make a plan to get your project in the end on the road and I an curieus how you will do that.
Also I would like to visit you to see the car.

a bonito is a beetle based gt40 replica not the real thing but still a nice car because most people don't know what it is
