Wink newbie from Switzerland

Hello all together

I am from Switzerland and a car enthusiast since I was young. Unfortunately I have never seen a GT 40 racing but some years ago I saw for the first time a GT40 running at Goodwood. Since that moment I new that I would like to drive such a car sooner or later.

For that reason I was two or three times in England looking on to GT40's mostly from GTD. But there was allways until today one problem:
Because of the strict regulations in Switzerland (noise and emission at first) it is from my point of view the only chance to get a GT40 road legal to find a car with a old registration (between 1965 and 1974) or to find old registration papers for a car to built.
There are two cars in Switzerland running on such old papers (both from GTD) but I could find out how they got them.

May be there is somebody around in this forum who has a idea about the problem because may be there are other countries with also such strict regulations. I would be happy about any advice or idea because it is quite frustrating to see the cars come and go with the possibility to buy and own a GT40 but not the chance to drive it legally !

May be any of you know a car for sale or also a project with old papers it would be perfect. I am not worried if I have to do some work on the car and if it is not perfect from the beginning.

Congratulations to this very interesting forum- I have looked at it many times but I have not tried to post actively (I am not a computer specialist...)

Regards and many thanks
