Rep Power: 2 | Powerkit New Gt40 Hi, I’m Claudio a new Italian member of this unbelievable world. Just two weeks ago I had buy a new Ford GT40 Blu/white from German dealer and now the car still in my garage. Now is my intention to install the power kit made by Hennessy. I contact him but till now I don’t understand how to do for install the electronic software. It’s easy to install? Can I do by myself or is necessary a good mechanic? Someone could give me more info for the easy and more powerful solution? Ciao Claudio |

| Re: Powerkit New Gt40 Hi Claudio
do you mean something that you bought from : HENNESSEY PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING In HOUSTON, USA. What have you bought from them? Perhaps some of the guys here might be able to give you some more information if you tell more information. Is your car a Ford GT or a GT40? Where abouts are you located? |

Try this site The Ford GT Forum - Powered by vBulletin
They can help you with the new Ford GT. I suggest you do some research on Mr. Hennesey and be carefull......he does not have the best reputation amoungst some customers.
Good luck...
Rick

Kenne Bell makes supercharger. I understand the Ford GT uses a Lysolm system from Sweden. Lysolm was associated with Whipple, but they have gone their own way. I do believe that Eaton worked with Lysolm on this application.
What do you wish to do?
Best Regards

If the car was mine, I would talk to either Rousch or Total Performance.
Total Performance
44050 Groesbeck Highway
Clinton Township Michigan
+1 586 468 3673
As I understand, John Vermisch's company runs the Ford racing technical line.
Both do excellent work.
Rousch UK SVA'd the Ford GT for the UK market.
Before spending any money on an aftermarket kit, I suggest contacting both of these firms.
Saluti,
