Rep Power: 53 | The Rules: Please Read Dear Member,
Thanks for visiting GT40s.com! We hope that you’ll enjoy the forum and contribute to the community. We are a fairly laid back group at GT40s.com, but we do have a few forum “rules” of which you should be aware. Not exactly rules, but suggestions. 1. When you pick your “Display Name” Use your real name or something similar. We don’t like names like “SlickRick”, “SuPeRdUpPeRgT40”, and “Ratboy4367” with cutesy pictures to match. If your name is John Brown, then please use it. Afraid of internet identity theft you say? Worried an illegal alien will collect your social security? Then go for John B., easy and friendly with no theft risk. 2. You don’t want to list an email or location with your name? Then you might want to think about not registering. Our active members form a community and we’d like to be able to invite you out for beers sometime. 3. Do you sell GT40 stuff? Are you promoting GT40 products? Then please support the forum as a Vendor and read the following thread. Posts made to sell, no matter how subtle, will be deleted and might lead to you being banned from the forum. The forum is not here for your convenience. 4. Post a little and things might get hot! Wear your flame retardant underwear while on the board, a few flames might fly every now and again. This board strongly believes in the freedom of speech so say what you like. We also strongly believe in responsibility, so be prepared to stick by what you wrote. Be prepared to back up your posts with proof and science – we’re a very analytical bunch on the board. 5. Please, use the search feature when considering a topic to post. And think about your question before posting. I’m sure you want to know which GT40 to purchase or which one is the best. But face it – they are all represented here and everyone likes to think they made the best choice so how many answers do you think you’ll get? Do your research and the best GT40 FOR YOU will become clear. 6. Please READ the emails that come to you from the GT40s.com. If you have "Notify me when I receive a Private Message (PM)" turned on in your Control Panel the system will email you when you get a PM. DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. It says that right in the message body and header, but people do it anyway. The system simply tells you when you receive a private message, you cannot respond to the person by emailing back to the system. You respond by logging in and going to your Control Panel and reading your PMs.
I think that will just about do it. If you cannot live with these suggestions and guidelines then please do not sign up. Also, be aware the forum exists on user donations and advertising contributions. If you enjoy the forum please think about becoming a Supporting Member.
Thanks again and if you have any questions email an admin. A link to registration can be found here: Registration
