Another Guy From California

My name is Tom. I live in the central valley of California.

My occupation (attorney) produces very little by way of tangible product, mostly just paperwork. I really like the idea of building my own car for the same reason that I took up woodworking - having a physical object to show for my hard work. I have basic mechanical skills, but lots of patience and friends with more experience that have offered to help.

The GT40 has always been been my favorite car design. I signed up here to check out the feasiblity of doing a build. I'm guessing that because of the mid-engine format that it'll be a bit more difficult than a Cobra build, so I'm going to look around here and see exactly what's involved. A Cobra is out because I need a hard top and the GT40 is hands down the best looking car ever to be built. I would love to make this happen.

I look forward to interacting with everyone.

Welcome Tom. I'm in the same boat. Limited time to produce something with my hands. This website will help you greatly with the 40.
