Hello from 1 hour past nowhere...

Hello, I am a retired movie guy, who finally figured out I want to play with cars and relax alot.

I am packing away my pennies for a ERA GT. I visited them while I was in the Navy. Seem to be good folks with a great product.

I am a former ARCA Supercar team member racing on all types of tracks.

Lots of experience building engines and doing suspension setups.

I am an AMC fan. I have had a few AMXs and Javelins. I have raced one of the Penske/Donahue Javelins, albeit breifly.

So that's it. Dont fear my AMCishness. Hey the AMC 401 with the new E-brock heads makes mucho power! And has a Ford Motronic distributor to boot!

Nomex firmly in place, I seek the flames, or is that the light...

Re: Hello from 1 hour past nowhere...

Jerry,

Welcome aboard........and your excellant choice of the ERA GT40. They have a very good product, and it is also the choice I would make when I get to that point.....although Superformance is a close second.

You will find folks here are very supportive, and will jump right in when assistance is needed. This site has alot of information at your fingertips, and many forum members are VERY GOOD engineering type people that offer very good tips on construction issues.

Good luck with getting started on your dream GT40!
