Introduce Yourself Here!Welcome!! Break the ice! Forum is not for "What GT40 should I get questions"
I have started to organise track days for kids with life threatening diseases. We have had 2 events so far and the children loved being taken around the track in our GT40,s. The next event is 26 Jan 2008.
Good for you and your desire to help kids with special needs in life.
I think your idea is great and I am sure it will only take a short period of time before it gets the coverage in newspapers and other media groups to recognise the wonderful thing you are organizing.
If I had a GT40, I would be in line to help out too.
Good luck with your efforts!!!!

Chris,
Great cause and a wonderful way to give back. I have been doing the same kind of thing through auctions for various charitable organizations here in the states. It usually goes over very well and raises a good amount of money. You have inspired me with your post though. I will contact Make-a-wish and offer up a ride for any of thier teenagers whom might like to experience a ride in a race car.
Good luck to you. I am sure you will have as big a smile as the kids.
In monza they make a similar event named "sei ruote di speranza".
many owners of exotics offer a ride in monza track with those guys...the emotions and the smiles u have back from theme are priceless.
