Good Day all, I am new to the forum and very glad I found it on the net. I have just bought a Kit GT40 from a chap who has not touched it but rather spent his time collecting parts for it etc. This is good for me as the body never been mounted to a chassis or had any bits fitted to it. The chassis supplied is not good, neither is the suspention. I am hoping that I can get some good ideas from builders. We have a large race community here so hoping to start racing.

I have nearly completed a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. Once this car is finished I will be getting onto the dream car (GT40) ASAP

Welcome Kevern. Glad you like the forum. There are lots of GT40 suppliers in SA. Hitech and CAV being the main ones. If you don't like your chassis I'm sure that one of these monocoques would be exactly what you want. I will be on holiday in SA this summer to visit Capetown, Uhlanga Rocks and Durban. I won't have my GTD with me but you can't have everything!
