Hi! I'm Patrick from Maryland, and don't have a GT40 yet, but hope to shortly. I am a Corvette fan to say the least, but now I'm after one of the sexiest cars ever built! I have been in love with the GT since I was watching Speed Racer in the 70's but it never was a "practical" enough car. (now I just don't care about practicallity!)
I hope to learn a lot and help wherever I can, glad to be here.

I too was a Corvette maven for a number of years.(Still have a 67 big block Sting Ray)
As my hobby has been historic racing history , I've always appreciated the GT40 for it's purposeful beauty and historical accomplishments. When I got the chance to get a nice example, I didn't hesitate one bit. It has been one of the most rewarding cars to drive that I've ever owned. The car has now spoiled me for any other car. I love the ritual of driving this "unpractical" car.
