I lurk around alot and put my 2cents in every once in a while. I am building a 1966 Fiberfab Valkyrie, an early GT40 type car. I say GT40 type car since it is not a close replica like most of the cars here but does have the basic GT40 lines. I have found this site to be very helpful since my drivetrain is a 302 Ford mated to a Audi trans. The drivetrain, engine and suspension areas have been very helpful. Thanks to all who have shared info and help on getting these cars together. I am in Annapolis Md.

I'm in Rockville, Md. just up the road from you. I have a KVA kit - once considered a Valkyrie but was not happy with the replication.

If you're in the area, you're free to take a look at mine.

There's a goup of guys that assemble every Sunday Morning at 8:00 AM in Burtonsville - it's called the Hot Rod Church. There are 200 or so cars ranging from 32 Fords to Gt40's. You might consider dropping by sometime as it's only about 45 minutes from you.
