Old but a newbie!

Hi all I'm a Car restorer from England now living and working in California USA. I joined because I was wondering what has become of J11 and J12. I worked for AC autokraft back in the late 80's and worked on both cars for a year from when they were bare tubs to rolling chassis's. I have some photo's of the cars at Brooklands coming together if I can work out how to post 'em. Reading through the old post's here on this forum both cars appear to a bit of a sore point around here! can't think why? anway anybody any info? if there in Cali I would love to see them again they were fun times for me, working with John Grant and having Jim Rose at Safir engineering next door to chat to about GT's heady days for an ex Roll's mechanic........
